The largest of a trio of wilderness areas just southeast of Salt Lake City, Lone Peak Wilderness contains very rugged terrain with narrow canyons and high peaks. It is located on both the Wasatch-Cache and Uinta National Forests. Among the highest peaks are the Little Matterhorn at 11,326 feet and Lone Peak at 11,253 feet, where snow often can remain until midsummer. Much of the higher elevation is alpine, with large, open cirque basins and exposed rocky ridges.

The Dms system maintains property records, computes average remaining and services lives by plant category, produces FCC and SEC required depreciation forms, and provides monthly budgeting and forecasting capabilities. Dms is currently being converted to the Microsoft .NET environment.
